Analysis of ionic compounds by capillary electrophoresis (CE)

Solving customer problems with advanced analysis and "analytical skills"! Analysis of anionic and cationic compounds in aqueous solutions.

"Capillary Electrophoresis (CE)" is a method where a running buffer is filled in a silica hollow capillary with an inner diameter of 100 µm or less. After injecting the sample at one end of the capillary, a voltage (-30 to +30 kV) is applied across both ends of the capillary to perform electrophoresis, separating components based on differences in mobility due to charge, size, shape, etc. A UV/Vis (ultraviolet-visible) detector is used for detection; however, for components that do not have UV absorption, a running buffer containing a UV-absorbing component is used for indirect absorbance detection (detecting the target component as a negative peak). 【Features】 ■ Analysis of anionic and cationic compounds in aqueous solutions (for liquid samples other than water, gas samples, and solid samples, appropriate pretreatment is performed before measurement) ■ Measurement of industrial chemicals such as plating solutions, as well as samples from food and cosmetics is also possible. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We would like to introduce a case where discoloration on the surface of a copper-clad laminate was analyzed using Raman spectroscopy. Analysis of organic fluorine compounds (PFOS, PFOA)

Conducting analysis of two substances, PFOS and PFOA, for which provisional target values have been established, such as tap water and well water!

We would like to introduce the analysis of "organic fluorine compounds (PFOS and PFOA)" conducted at our center. "PFOS" and "PFOA" are organic compounds that contain carbon-fluorine bonds and are types of "PFAS" (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has designated PFOS and PFOA as water quality management target items starting from April 1, 2020, setting a provisional target value of 50 ng/L or less (for the total of PFOS and PFOA). At our center, we conduct analysis of the two substances, PFOS and PFOA, for which provisional target values have been established, in drinking water and well water.
